2026 November BAGI Bash

Thursday, November 5, 2026 (11:00 AM - 6:30 PM) (EST)

Description

Good morning BAGI Members

The bash is just a little over a week away with our vendors working hard on getting their booths ready for your attendance.

If you looked at the first invite you will see we switch things up on the outline of the day. Feedback from members asked we do the elections and presentation during the earlier part of the day and let you have more time after to visit booths before the cocktail reception so that is what we are doing.

The Elections/Presentation will start at 2 pm.

Our presenter this year is Dr. Matt Will, is bio is below.

His Topic for us:

AN ECONOMY IN CHAOS

Constantly changing tariffs, the war in Iran, and the explosive growth of AI are reshaping the global economy and changing how businesses operate, invest, and plan for the future.

Dr. Matthew Will cuts through the noise and explains what these forces mean for home builders, businesses, financial markets, economic growth, and everyday life on Main Street. He will connect these developments to inflation, interest rates, and the broader business environment, with particular attention to their implications for the building industry.

Attendees will gain perspective on the forces driving economic uncertainty and what business leaders should watch as they make decisions for the year ahead.

  • The changing economy: How tariffs, global conflict, and artificial intelligence are reshaping the economic outlook.
  • What comes next: The implications for inflation, interest rates, financial markets, and Main Street.
  • The business of building: What changing economic conditions mean for construction costs, financing, and profitability.

Make sure you get signed up before Tuesday at Noon to come out.  I would be remiss if I didn't say please support the vendors here that support us throughout the year.
